HISTORY

Opened on May 23, 1973, Thursday’s has transformed over the years through various renovations, right up to the form we see in today.

 

This legendary Crescent Street establishment, originally owned by Mr. Bernard Ragueneau, has carved out a special place in the history of Montréal nightlife. After nearly 40 years of welcoming and entertaining Montrealers and tourists alike, the complex was sold, and the neon signs were switched off on the night of September 9, 2012. In a happy turn of events, the initial demolition project was set aside, and Mr. Ragueneau’s son, Torrance, took Thursday’s back. Extensive renovations restored the space’s youthfulness and beauty, a new team was formed, and our chefs created a fresh menu featuring old classics and new fare. Thursday’s was reborn!
